The warm reception brightened our stay
We received a warm welcome from the staff, who made us feel at home despite the challenges we encountered. The room's temperature was surprisingly comfortable, making our one-night stay cozy.
Unfortunately, cleanliness was lacking. the corridors felt neglectful and the room had an underlying stale odor. We experienced issues with broken amenities, which detracted from our overall comfort.

Lovely sea views from my room added to the experience. No hot water in the morning was disappointing.

I found the location perfect for my needs, just a short walk from local attractions. The double room with a sea view had decent views. the room was basic, with some furniture showing signs of wear. I appreciated the bit of parking available, but the check-in process was frustrating. No reception to greet guests, just a couple of numbers to call. The cleanliness could be improved. I noticed some dirt and debris in the corridors. Sleep quality was impacted by noise from other guests. The lack of a welcoming atmosphere made the stay feel a bit uninviting.

The location is just a short walk from the main road, making it fairly accessible for those wanting to explore. The room temperature was surprisingly comfortable during our stay, which was a plus after the chaos outside.
The place is in dire need of a revamp. The carpets look like they've come straight from the '70s, and the furniture arrangement in our family room felt like a bad game of Tetris. Our 'flat screen' TV was so outdated it had only a scart socket, and the tea and coffee facilities were quite poor and unpleasant. The bathroom light was out, which made navigating the space tricky, and I noticed a lingering smell that was definitely not pleasant. While the bedsheets were clean, the overall cleanliness left much to be desired—it felt dusty and neglected.

my stay at north ocean was great! the staff were super kind and let me check in way early, which was so helpful. my single room was clean, comfy, and had all the essential mod cons. plus, it was so close to the sea! it was a fantastic value for money, especially compared to pricier places.
i'd suggest a little updating in some areas.

The room was a good size and kept clean, but issues with the TV and outdated decor were notable drawbacks. While the location provided stunning views and lovely walks along the seafront, noise from the corridors at night impacted sleep quality. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Dining options like hot pot dishes were enjoyable.
